INTRAMUROUS

At the begining of the spanish regime the spanyards built a fortrous in the heart of manila and this fort was surrounded by a great wall to keep out the hostile malaysians, before king philippe named his conquer philippines, out of new city.

This gallery includes pics from within the walls, which are currently still standing. So much history in here about our spanish herritage that its presence is felt throughout the buildings and air. buildings over 500 years old and same with the walls themselves clearly show spanish architecture. it is amazing that everything is still standing strong even the great philippine cathedral.
